Urban Health Alliance, Race 4 the Environment is dedicated to providing the public with awareness, education, prevention, practical application, and insightful remedies in order to protect the general public and their families against environmental hazards that may exist within their homes as well as in the community that we live.  

UHA provides iinformation and assistance to educate and protect against such hazards but not limited to lead, asbestos, mild, pesticides, air quality, water quality, land quality, household, school, day care facilities, ball fields, and playground issues.  Our goal is to provide community action for a healthy environment.

To Return started in the Killimanjaro region of Tanzania in 2007 and is dedicated to improving the lives of porters and guides on Mt. Kilimanjaro by creating opportunity for education for the porters, guides and their children.  To Return also donates mountain climbing clothing and equipment to improve the working conditions of these guides.   To Return was told by the porters that all they really wanted was a better life for their children and families.  They agreed that the best chance was through education and from that point on,  To Return launched a scholarship program connecting climbers and tourists with the children of porters and granting these children scholarships to attend local quality schools. 

The scholarships are also now available to adults.  Supported by To Return, the first AAIRE Wilderness First Responder course was held in Moshi and provided advanced wilderness and remote medical training to dozens of local Kilimajaro guides.
